Are T-Rex products AMA legal?
Yes, AMA legal in all classes. With the exception of our Aluminum carb caps for 50cc bikes.
My T-Rex throttle has a micro tube, can I change to standard tube?
Yes, order a standard tube only and it can easily be changed.
Can I use my throttle on different bikes?
Yes! Your T-Rex throttle will fit any 2-stroke motorcycle. Usually a simple cable change is all you need.
How long should a cable last?
We recommend changing your cable every 50 hours.
Do I need to lubricate my cable?
No! The T-Rex low friction cable has a special liner that never needs lubed. If it feels like it needs lubricated then its tie to replace the cable.
Can I use ODI grips?
Never use any plastic throttle tube with the T-Rex throttle. Billet aluminum is unbreakable and offers superior performance. Any glue on grip works great with T-Rex throttles and tends to have less vibration.
Can I put a T-Rex throttle on a 4-stroke with duel cables?
Yes, we convert these back to a single cable system so its more reliable and has less friction.
What are the torque specs for my T-Rex Triple Clamp?
20 foot pounds on each of the four bolts for the T-Rex Clamp.
Do you have a sponsorship program for riders?
We are a small company and strive to help whenever possible. Our sponsorship program is full for the 2025 year. We accept race resumes in August or at Loretta's.
