First off. Was super cool to find out T-rex was from Idaho! I'm in Boise. Ok so to be honest I was skeptical when I learned of the T-Rex throttles through some bike work I was doing through my shop, Elite Moto Factory... A brief backstory. I had served as a professional MX race and FMX mechanic for many years and we always used production housings. The 4-strokes could've benefited from machined housings... Now some teams are utilizing ultra strong housings.
My son started racing on Pdubs. Graduated to the KTM 50 and started racing RMX. At a race in Rupert he was involved in a 1st turn pile up resulting in him going over the bars and breaking the stock housing. I was like Dang! Our weekend is over! Went over to the Let's Ride boys to see if they has anything at the shop and they had T-rex's. I was like ok, they seemed expensive. but It saved the day for our Sunday motos. First thing I noticed was how easy it was for him to use. Very smooth. Plus he loves the color choices. From that day forward I would NEVER put my son on a bike WITHOUT a T-rex. Straight up!
