T-Rex Race Spec Billet Throttle for Yamaha YZ 65/85/125/250cc

So I installed this on the 23 YZ65, and I’ll tell you that thing has never ripped so quickly off the line I couldn’t believe the difference.

My only two complaints are, I wish the throttle cable wasn’t so dang long. At the same time I understand this is a very universal part for the YZ line and not the YZ65 specifically… but it’s so long I couldn’t figure out where to tuck the rest of the line.

Additionally it took some time to get MOST of the throttle sticking problem to go away… I’m not sure how to completely resolve it…

All in all, I’m for sure buying another one for the YZ85 and I’ll install this one on the YZ125 when the time comes to move up to that… but I do hope the throttle sticking can be resolved somehow. It seems to be related to how much slack there is in the throttle cable not being able to snap the throttle closed.

My son wanted micro bars for his new YZ65 to mimic the feel of his Cobra 50 that he is still racing. The micro bars are so much better for the youth riders as it gives them better control. Dan at T-Rex makes the best throttle assembly on the market. The only way to go for micro bar setup! Thanks!
